Der h\u00f6chste Punkt des <strong>Waxeneck<\/strong> liegt auf 796 Meter. Am 473 Meter hohen <strong>Guglzipf<\/strong> bei Berndorf kann die Franz Bichler Warte besucht werden. Weissenbach-Neuhaus<\/strong> in N\u00d6.<\/p>\n\t\t<div id=\"maps-marker-pro-80f28cef\" class=\"maps-marker-pro mmp-list-below\" style=\"width: 100%;\">\n\t\t\t<div id=\"mmp-map-wrap-80f28cef\" class=\"mmp-map-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"mmp-map-80f28cef\" class=\"mmp-map\" style=\"height: 400px;\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"mmp-chart-wrap-80f28cef\" class=\"mmp-gpx-chart-wrap\" style=\"height: 120px;\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"mmp-list-80f28cef\" class=\"mmp-list\" style=\"flex-basis: 400px;\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<p>Nach Anreise mit der <strong>Triestingtalbahn<\/strong> wird bei diesem Rundwanderweg zun\u00e4chst \u00fcber <strong>Niemtal<\/strong> und <strong>Rehgras<\/strong> die Gemeinde <strong>Furth an der Triesting<\/strong> angesteuert. Hier sto\u00dfen wir auf eine Wegtafel zum <strong>Krennweg<\/strong>, welcher &#8211; durchaus etwas anspruchsvoller &#8211; auf das <strong>Hocheck<\/strong> f\u00fchrt. In einer H\u00f6he von 1.037 Meter bietet sich von der <strong>Meyringer Warte<\/strong> ein toller Ausblick unter anderem auf den Schneeberg, die Rax und den \u00d6tscher an. Das <strong>Hocheck-Schutzhaus<\/strong> war im Sommer 2023 geschlossen. Der aussichtsreiche Abstieg verl\u00e4uft nach <strong>Eberbach<\/strong>, von wo aus sich der <strong>Bahnhof<\/strong> \u00fcber eine wenig befahrene Stra\u00dfe und Wege entlang der Wir folgen dann der blauen Markierung und erreichen nach weniger als neun Kilometer das <strong>Waxeneckhaus<\/strong>. Weiter geht es auf Basis der Wegtafeln in Richtung <strong>Pernitz \u00fcber Gutenstein<\/strong> zum ehemaligen <strong>Schneerosenhaus<\/strong>. Nach einer kleinen <strong>Waldkapelle<\/strong> verl\u00e4uft die Route \u00fcber <strong>Auf der Wurzen<\/strong> und durch den <strong>Urhauswald<\/strong>. In unmittelbarer N\u00e4he zum Waxeneck steht in <strong>Feichtenbach<\/strong> das einstige <strong>Sanatorium Wienerwald<\/strong>, welches eine bewegte Geschichte aufweist und nicht zug\u00e4nglich ist. Es l\u00e4sst sich ein Abstecher zu der 34 Meter hohen\u00a0<strong>Franz Bichler Warte<\/strong> unternehmen, welche einen guten Ausblick auf das Leithagebirge, Kieneck, Hocheck und den Hohen Lindkogel bietet. Eine Rast w\u00e4re in der benachbarten <strong>Waldh\u00fctte<\/strong> m\u00f6glich. Auf teils schmalen Waldwegen wird nun \u00fcber das <strong>Aichkreuz<\/strong> eine Weggabelung angesteuert, ab welcher\u00a0 wir uns in Richtung <strong>St. Veit<\/strong> orientieren. Nach etwas mehr als 6 Kilometer lie\u00dfe sich bei der <strong>Bhst. St. Veit\/Triesting<\/strong> die Heimreise antreten. Ebenso w\u00e4re es m\u00f6glich die <strong>Bhst. Berndorf Fabrik<\/strong> anzusteuern. Der oben abgebildete Rundwanderweg verl\u00e4uft auf kaum befahrenen Stra\u00dfenabschnitten entlang der Triesting und Waldwegen zum Ausgangspunkt beim <strong>Bhf.
